yo everyone... just here to promote the wristband thing... its for charity of course, and not some product of evil opportunistic capitalists from mini toons.
who isit for? its for the victims of the genocide programme in Sudan, Africa.
Violence and destruction are raging in the Darfur region of western Sudan. Since February 2003, government-sponsored militias known as the Janjaweed have conducted a calculated campaign of slaughter, rape, starvation and displacement in Darfur.
It is estimated that 400,000 people have died due to violence, starvation and disease. More than 2.5 million people have been displaced from their homes and over 200,000 have fled across the border to Chad. Many now live in camps lacking adequate food, shelter, sanitation, and health care.
these people has been suffering for the past 20 years in continuous civil war and yet many people do not know the plight of these darfurs. some dont even know where sudan is.
so as u are sitting on your com right now, dont u just feel shocking, followed by a sense of sorrow when there are places where people are living in hell-like conditions?
i think that if we have the resources to help these people, we should. its $3 for a wristband... may cost like a bomb but seriously,this is like nothing compared to wat they r undergoing..

for those of you complaining how sucky singapore is cos u cant afford a car here, well think again:
at least u all wont have to tolerate craps like proton and perodua.tuscani is usch a sexy car that i would love to give it a ride but, due to its lack of back space i'll have to be contended with head-on interaction instead of going all out from the back.
the new beetle is well-endowed , gorgeous with flirtatious curves that all men would
love to get their hands on.
proton saga, sadly, is an over-aged model with a dull exterior with cheap plastic implanted. but still, it promises a wild and calamitous ride and it loves to make loud noises, which may please some saddistic handlers.

it has become so much more distinctive between the artie-farties and the science-nerdos. im GREEN with envy (or green, with envy hahaha) that the arts classes seem to have so much fun! just look at their class blog and immediately i felt shameful with my now-defunct, never-hyped up class blog.
i start to question: what's wrong? it seems that we aren't even stopping to smell the roses anymore - to appreciate and enjoy life, but we r like all chasing something something so delusional and distant. in fact, we dont even know what exactly we r chasing.
just running. run, run, running in circles, running on the same spot, running towards the ultimate doom.
in fact, life's a race already isnt it? shant elaborate it now cos i can write an essay on that.
was quite depressed again yesterday until my mum took me for a buffet! woohoo! haha cos my relatives come and visit us... or else it would have been normally impossible =p.
felt so flattered when all of them commented how shuai or cute i am. (in fact a damn great boost of ego) my cousin proceeds to pinch or tease me throughout the whole buffet. a human-teddy i was, and proud of being one too.
then i took them to esplanade, which they are quite sian initially, until i took them to the top... and they were awed. haha its the best spot of singapore! u can view the whole singapore bay there with the omfg-its-damn-chio city landscape, the groovy ferries on sea, the new outdoor performing arts centre (not quite sure what its called though) and lastly the cool singapore breeze.
pls provide me with more ideas where i can take them cos i dun really know where to go hahaha.

that is a bimboistic statement haha but the truth is that house comm rox! yeah good job everyone for sports carnival! though its quite a mess but the most impt is that everyone had fun rite?
well at least for ppl that came down that is. fortunately its abt 80% of the school
sometimes im so disgsted by muggers. imagine seeing ppl in classroom mugging their asses off while dressed in red and white. and its not only a few.
does it kill to have some fun for one day?
thats why house comms are for... to add life to the school!
