yeah i got my all new benq lcd monitor yesterday!!! and now my com table got damn lot of space after i ditched my old bulky CRT monitor.
taiwan is just such a crazy place. an 17-inch ld monitor only costs s$500.
for those interested in buying some other taiwan stuff at damn cheap price can go this site. they practicall sell everything from com to camera to handphone to even clothes

after the creative sale (which i surprisingly met jx there!), i installed my new wireless keyboard and wnet to chalet.
the bbq is a much better experience compared to the ultra cheapskate one at marina bay. the satay is just dammmmmmmmnnnnnn nice and so is the chicken wing. i guess FRESH FOOD taste better.
then tried to learn cycling and after a gruelling 1 1/2 hour attempt i could ride a kilometer without falling! thanx to guangH zhihao HaiS and chongy as the foundation and weihao charles and shifu and the leading factor (damn i mug too much history)
then i oso learnt bridge! thanx to everyone that is willing to teach a dumbass like me.
played xbox and soccer too. yeah chalet is damn fun man!!!
yeah the hotel was damn hot (literally) haha its damn nice, but somehow there may be too many of us or maybe the air-con unit broke down or sth.
and shamelessly i exploited my stay by taking a bubble bath. wahhhhhh it has been 7 months since i took the last one after the rc camp. ahhhh damn relaxing.
after several faield attempts to sleep, only to be wake up by damn funny OBS tales and games and even pentium 4, i finally slept at 5 am.
then when i woke up i realised that it was already 8 am!!! i forgot i need to queue for the creative warehouse sale. and so i rushed to my house to get money and rushed alll the way to jurong.
i was hoping that everyone is queing up only for the creative zen jukebox and not the digital camera. but there was another 150 ppl who tinks like me. haha crap man the queue is damn fucking long. like this....?

and so i didnt get my 4.2 mpx digital camera for $199. had to settle for a 3.2 instead.
neverthelss this experience is valuabe to me and teaches me a lesson . if u want to queue up for some damn good bargain next time,
1)queue at some odd hour like 3am and even the day before
2) dun expect that u will get wat u want by hoping that everyone else want sth else. there maybe 1000+ ppl thinking like u.

went to marina bay on friday with gh zhixiang cy jem and the swimmers after chem to eat the so-called value-for-money steamboat and bbq (sth like seoul garden)

then to our surprise thwere are 2 groups of ppl fighting for business!!! there are the weird china uncle and a woman that looks like pei du mama and the normal singapore ah-bengs. lol the uncle is damn aggressive man...
"i give u nine dollars!!! 4 FREE JUICE!!!"
Then the ah-bengs, not willing to lose a potential 20 customers, fight back by playing our fear and mistrust of the PRCs.
"some of ur employees used to work for that shop. trust me we knew HOW THEIR SHOP IS LIKE"
that tactic worked as we align ourselves to our comfort zone of local people and we were taken to the so-called bbq shop by squeezing in a mini van.
come and think of it we WERE DAMN NAIVE. they could have simply taken us to some remote places and kidnap/rape?!/play bridge or dai dee with us.
but looking at the condition of that place i would rather play bridge on some remote place. damn that place is sooooo..... WET. tables r wet, the stove is wet and even the aluminium is wet. that place is even more dirty than my hometown. AND NO AIRCON somemore!!! is that chicken soup? why is there black ppt?
the food? lumps and lumps of meat displayed, like wat u will see in the supermarkets. and surprisingly no flies were flying around, and we al know why ;)
after much tedious effort we managed to cook the meat and it ttastes quite ok to my surprise. but were we eating the meat or the carbon?
oh ya. wolfberry. i put a whole chunk of wolfberry and 2 corn in side the soup in an attempt to imitate
yan can cook show. the soup turns out...corny, literally.
we decided to sneak off to gH's hotel for some revely after the traumatising affair. why sneak off? a giant signboard re4ads: do not waste ur food. $5 for every 100g of food wasted.
overall the bbq shop has set a standard for the bbq industry as a negative material. it shows wat will happen if the govt did not control the standard of the food industry.

Error discovered in O-level exam question
AN ERROR that slipped into a question in this year's GCE O-level Biology exam paper is being looked into by the exam-setters, who promise that no student will be disadvantaged because of it.
In the Biology Paper 2 - which several thousand students sat for on Wednesday - the accompanying graph for a four-part structured question was incorrectly drawn.
Two of the four parts to Question 2, carrying seven out of 11 marks, were affected.
A Ministry of Education spokesman, responding to queries from The Straits Times, said the paper was set by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) - which has assured MOE that 'no candidate will be disadvantaged because of the error'.
moreover there maybe an error in paper 1 as well! according to the report that "two of the options in paper 1 is equally correct" and the" ucles are investigating on the matter"
The question centred on how the diameter of the pupil in the human eye varied in relation to its distance from a light source.
The graph showed the diameter of the pupil decreasing the farther away it was from the light source. This baffled students, who pointed out that the converse is true.

but however this shows how slip-shot the UCLES's paper setting standard is. how can such a stupid mistake(s) be made, especially on a paper that is done by almost a million students worldwide? shldnt there be extensive checking before it is distributed? where is the quality control? this is undoubtly the darkest hour in cambridge examinations.

wow i tot study life in singapore is stressful enough until i read straits times today. i cannot deny that koreans are the pinnacle of muggerism: they can endure mugging from 7am to 1 am (dats rite: 18 hours in total)and not whine a single bit.
which basically means they spent 6 hours sleeping and 18 hours mugging.....and then? dats all?! omg! dun they spent time watching television, or play com or....ya knoe..ahem???
and i tot my life is dull enuff, wosre still they need to undergo this torture for at least one year, to prepaer their college entrance exam.
so we must be thankful that we r living in sinapore! o lvl isnt that torturous after all, and i have time for
personal activities as well!
